No! lol!

Marty came over today and inspected the damage on Smashie and said it was all repairable but would take awhile... Have to get new control arms in a few places and a few panels (already sourced a bootlid (Thanks to Suzukigeek/Nick). I pulled off the muffler end of the exhaust and fixed the 3 fuel line plates that had been dislodged (straightened them) and just had a general tidy up of some wiring aswell

Found out today that Smashie's relays had been cut off too and a few off the main fuses were gone... I went to the wreckers and got all the fuses (saved about $100) and got the relays there too (told the guy at the counter they were fuses too! )

I would be stuffed without having the silver capp there to refer to for the wiring, there were 5 relays that were cut off at the wires and about 20 wires to trace, heatshrink and solder... Took about 3 hours to do the job but at least it's another thing off the list!

Not sure but whoever did it took out all the fuses too! They also couldn't work out how to unplug the power window switch or the interior light!

I'm sure you could if you saw it! Just a set of multipin plugs that clip together- press the tab on the side and pull them apart...

Smashie started!!
I was very surprised that after all the bizarre wiring that Smashie had done to him and that I had to try and fix that he started. Davidmotec from here let me get the ECU from his capp and plugged it in, held the battery terminals while I cranked Smashie over
No exhaust on the back after I removed the muffler but it idled fine for the 30 or so seconds it ran!
Progress!

Thanks Sneaza & Liz!

Smashie can breathe now thanks to your intercooler and windscreen squirter (thankyou! )
Suzukigeek (Nick) was able to provide a bootlid for Smashie too! He is starting to look semi- normal!

I put Smashie's cluster in today to find out what works and what doesn't...

The only thing that didn't work was the instrument illumination! Easy to fix!
High beams, alternator, engine light, park brake and speedo, tacho, fuel and temp all work still

Smashie might have LSD, I'm not sure... Maybe a short shift kit too, feels very quick to engage gears with hardly any movement of the gearstick.

Work is getting underway to bring him back to normal anyway!

Smashie can't wait to be finished either!

Another area of wires that has been cut is the radio but that will be easy to fix too!

Looking good, Capgun! Does this mean you have a spare high level brake light now that you've bought the trailer?

I drove back thru rain, hail and snow (well maybe no snow) to get Smashie the parts needed urgently for his plastic surgery, and would you believe I had 2 not 1 but 2 speed detectors in the car. Funny how it was okay for Marty to go somewhere around the 124 mark on the way up there. Proving they said!!!! Yet when I went a couple of kms over the speed limit it was breaking the law. Men!!!!!!!!!!
