In the top photo who can pick all the differences? (and I don't mean the lack of the rest of the car being there! )

Other than No Petrol Cap, Doors, Door Handles, Side indicators, Cappo Logo/Badge...........??? Exhaust..........

I drove back thru rain, hail and snow (well maybe no snow) to get Smashie the parts needed urgently for his plastic surgery, and would you believe I had 2 not 1 but 2 speed detectors in the car. Funny how it was okay for Marty to go somewhere around the 124 mark on the way up there. Proving they said!!!! Yet when I went a couple of kms over the speed limit it was breaking the law. Men!!!!!!!!!!

No I said 'qualifying'!
Thankyou to Marty and Glenda with all thier help in restoring smashie so far!

Do you know how easy it would be to just buy an LED lamp and fit it inside your existing one?   You need to remove the existing one - even if it was to swap so it would only take an hour of stuffing around to get a new set of LEDs in! Who was first in the queue?

Those seats look fantastic!  Presume they've been measured up already and you know they will fit?

Thanks Andy, they don't slide straight in but the runners need a bit of trimming and they will go in (about 10mm on each side!). They are out of a Monaro (the type that Jaik mentioned ages ago)

Thanks everyone! Trying to decide on a colour still - thinking a dark gunmetal will be good! Maybe better than black for me.

All black - tough to keep clean but can look great - especially if shiny inside

Very comfy looking seats.

Black is sooo nice, but shows too much dust and muck.

Might go a different route with the interior on this one and have just a sprinkling of polished things and mostly grey leather to go with the seats

I know but they don't have SS's over there so they wouln't know what I'm talking about! Monaros are the closest thing!

I pulled out Smashies subframe today after disconnectng the brakes, speedo cable, driveshaft and a few bolts. Only took about 3 hours!

The bottom half of the seat might go in but the shoulder 'wings' might be a problem.  Get a tape measure out and please check this before you make any irreversible modifications.  I was going to put a set of fixed back aftermarket seats in mine but couldn't find any that would fit (except the clubman style, but I don't like the look of them)

He has plenty but it was black oil! I wondered why he wouldn't start this afternoon before I took his stomach out (fuel tank) and it was because I forgot I no longer had the fuel sender and fuel pump connected!

Smashie's stomach (still had 10litres of fuel - can be used for lawn mower now!) and my 'expert' panelbeating below on the front fenders!
