So that's what my front spoiler would look like painted

I'm sure the dials can be easily sorted.

That's if it is still on it.  I seem to recall that it wasn't just Dave that had a Cappo in that family.

Any chance of some under bonnet shots Teresa?

It is indeed the car we thought it was.  The IRS sourced ARC intercooler is still there so I would guess the rest of the kit is in there too!  If it is you will need to inform your insurers as it is a big step up in performance over a standard cappo (rebored to 708cc with larger turbo and N2 ECU).  All she needs is a little spruce up.  For the roof and door trims you could try and do what pembers did as he got a great result.  See here.

It has to be said you have a very well known Capp there.  There probably aren't many Cappo enthusiasts that haven't heard of her or her previous owner!

If I remember rightly it was actually a Pipercross intake not a Suzuki Sport.

I think the foam bit does say something about Piper. I will takesome more detailed piccies of some of the bits tomorrow. Will have to find a photo of someone elses engine so I can see whats different

found the below cables on the floor under the passenger mat - any ideas Radio? The one that looks like and aerial lead doesnt go anywhere - I have found both ends.

Also on the rear wing is an aerial - any ideas where I might find the other end? Is it likely to be electric - it doesnt seem to go down

I think I can just make out the roll bar still being in place too.  The dual SPA gauges won't have been cheap either!  What is the centre one for looks like it's marked up LB/O2?

Looks like the standard Cappo aerial to me so no not electric.  Finding an electric aerial small enough to fit the Capp (in the standard position) is probably impossible.

Yes the roll bar is still there a triangular thing that catches on the rear window when you try  dont think its plugged in althought the cables could be in that spaghetti somewhere

Will need to try and source a cappo badge for the boot (so long as its stick on - dont really want to drill holes) Also going to need the runner plastic trim that goes over the back and arount the high (now thats a joke) level brake light.

Dany at Cappuccino Sport can source you either an original Suzuki badge or one of his own CappoSport ones.

I'm assuming it's oil pressure. LB/[]" = pounds / square inch = PSI? Not sure why with the oil pressure/temp combined gauge on the left though.

Just had a quick check and yes, it's definitely PSI. It could be for fuel pressure? I've no idea what kind of pressure that runs at though and how that compares to the 100 PSI scale.

You're right, the Suzuki Sport has a blue cone, that one has a silver cone and blue pipe. Different type of filter too (foam vs cotton), certainly looks like a PiperX one.

Silly Q - what size wheels need to go on a capp?

M70CAP we have just found out has 15" and we are being told they are too big - that whe we are getting a nasty noise - apparently we need 14"

any suggestions?

14 inch are standard but 15s, 16, and even 17s can be fitted without a problem so long as they are not too wide and the offset is correct.  I wouldn't have thought it was the wheels making the noise but the rear calipers which are renowned for sticking especially as it sounds like the car hasn't been used for 5 years.  There is a how to thread on what needs doing to refurb them here.

she has got 195/50R15 82V on all four - are they low ?

the man at the tyre place said he couldnt put lower profiles on and the only solution was new wheels and tyres at 330 +vat (cost - cos I smiled sweetly)

Nick spoke to Danny and he suggest rounding some L shaped bit in the wheel arch to make it bigger (190 +vat)

I would call a 50 profile normal Maybe ring a few other tyre places, it will mean your speedo goes out because of the different rolling circumference but capps speedo's aren't all that accurate anyway! (I just use the speedo on the GPS).

I get a bit of scrubbing on full lock on the steering (I run 15inch wheels too) but I can live with it - front wheel arch liners are plastic
