I won't be crushed if I don't win! (some people spend bazillions on their cars and put them back on the trailer ready for the next show). It will be the centrepiece in Silvery though and make him look 100% better |

Just got home - vewwwwy tired! (no sleep on way there or home for 26 hrs! )
It is a really great enclosure! When your sitting in the capp with it - it looks twice as big
Solid as a rock and super smooth - just waiting for that leather to come here this week or next and it'll be covered, in the meantime I can make a ally mounting plate to attach the subs to and a few more interior tidying up thingies.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH SNEAZA! |

Well I didn't win but I came 2nd in the National Audio/show event in Australia this weekend I have it trimmed now in leather and I have to say your efforts in making this box were really evident and paid off for me! The bass is verry nice now ! - I got judged for SQ overall and the sub-bass scored the highest of my results 9 out of 10
I will post up piccies tomorrow, just got home after the 8hr drive! |

Sorry I don't have terrific pics atm in daylight but here is the enclosure in Silvery
I still want to use something else around the edge of the subs and take a few pics with the lights around them on (looks nice!). The other metal thing is a pair of 6mm thick ally mounts to go above the seatbelt recesses which were polished up

Now if One wasn't enough........................well, Here's number 2. Didn't bother with the other pics as it's the same as before, only this time Capgun has opted for a Single 12"
Material applied and resined, Foam applied and cut to desired shape.......... |

LOL..............Like the 'Double' one, The Sub will be Basket facing out. Not sure what CG will put inside, though I'm sure Matt or Soundproofing of some description will be applied..... |

Wow! Great work by you again Dave!
Sub going in it is a 12" Image Dynamics 'IDMAX' (Chrome version).
Lots of work to do everything so far especially since you didn't have the sub there to measure against for references etc
I will probably dynamet the area underneath the enclosure to stop any rattles and Sneaza has put the terminal at the back out of view but easy access still!
Very happy! |
