Hi all im new to the cappuccino, so please be gentle! Im planning to make my cappo ubber cool. I have bought some 8x16 wheels with et10 offset, they protrude about 2 inches from the body and some people say it wont fit....i assure you it will , i had to get some Take off wheel arches. Its not been fitted yet, but i think it will look well wicked. Im on a very small budget so it may be a work in progress ..here are some pics...
the cappuccino
the wheels
195-45-16, too high profile, but was within the budget

This will be my next stage too, so willl be very intrested in your results. Roughly how much did the alloys cost? i thought Rays were rather expensive. How heavy are they compared with the stock alloys and why only 195's with that offset, would that not put extra stresses on the suspension? |

i just creamed myself concaved te37s FTW!! should look fat once on the car with the flares.
Kei 195s means the tyres will be slighty stretched which would look pretty good! |

Really i wanted 205-40-16 but they were a little over my limited budget. These 195s cam up so i bought them. These are lots lighter compared to say TSW, and ive been told stronger too. They were ordered and the person didnt want them anymore so i bought them for a reasonable price. Ive always liked the Volk TE37 especially in this offset as it dishes the spokes a bit. As for stresss on the suspension, i didnt know! If they break ill just have to go to autofactors and get some more shock absorbers |
