15th annual Webbs Car show.
This was taken just before a heavy down pout that had people scattering for cover.

My Cappo is just over 100 miles from celebrating here 50'000 mile.  So I treated her to some work.  Finally got my Diff mounts sorted.  I had them done once before in January I think, but I still had a knocking noise.
It seems the previous garage I used had did a hash job.  The had fitted one of the mounts in the diff cross memeber in the wrong orientation.  My new mechanic thinks they used a chisel to get the old ones out as they had damaged the bores.  He cleaned them back up & fitted another set of Suzuki Sport mounts.  Feels great now.

Also had my grooved rear discs & new pads fitted.  He also refurbed both callipers (stripped cleaned, rebuilt & regreased sliders).  Callipers look great now.

Brakes feel really good now.  Once the rears bed in a bit, it'll be even better.

Next job is to get the cam cover oil seals replaced.  I have a nice Suzuki Sport cam belt waiting to go in.

To bring my Cappo album to a close, here's a couple of pictures of the Copen.
Just finished with the clay bar, wax & quick detailer.  Meguiars, two thumbs up.

Hi Adam
What is  the status for the parts treated with POR-15.
I have tryed ón some front parts in small areas to see the result. It do cleans the rust off but long term?
Do you know about more serious rust damage Can it stop it?

Hi Kenn, sorry only just noticed your question.  The only cure for bad rust, is to cut it out & weld in new metal.  I think the POR-15 is only good at protecting good metal.   If it's surface rust, I'd suggest giving it a good scrub with a stiff brush then get some rust converter painted on it.  Then put the POR-15 on top of that.
Hope that helps a bit.  I don't own the car now, so I don't know how well my treatment has lasted.

That's something you don't need to buy now.
