Looks like mine...
Looking forward to seeing the front lip..
that gap in the rear bumper meeting the Q panel looks a little wide. Been in a knock? Roof looks good though. What's the rest of the car like? Forget the teaser pics lol... get it all out in the open.. you can do the teaser stuff when it's all done

Yeh had a wee accident I'm a bit embarresed about. Went to see a friend, parked the car up and went into the house. When I came out the car wasnted where I had parked it, first thought, it's been stolen!!! Then looked a wee bit more to find her parked up against a lamp post. Had forgotten to put the car in gear and hand brake on - School boy error!!!
All panels will be getting done when I get her resprayed. Not much rust on the car to be honest, a wee bit of bubbling on the rear drivers side arch but been pretty lucky. The car spends most of it's time nestled in my garage
No need to rush the build up, keep the suspense lol! |

You say that but once i had a new civic roll into the middle of the road on me and I doing 50mph! Just missed the car!! I had to know this guy and tell him his civic had rolled off the drive!
But lately there's a few cars that are being restored so it's good for a point of reference...
I do like the wheels on yours! Gun metal grey though!! lord |

What offset are they?
Although I reckon they look 10x better without the centre caps. |

6" or 6.5".... not at all, 7"!!!!!!!!! (I think)
Will also have custom control arms made to add to some extra camber. The aim is to have a cross with the car above and the one below

That just looks broken. Having rims wider than your tyres is bad news too.

having stretched is fine....if its good enough for drifting where there is alot of lateral force on the side wall normal driving should be fine. |

Stretched tyres work fine with normal driving but it's hard to find somebody who is willing to do it. It's quite hard to do |

test fit of how the wheels will sit
Standard seats are nice on a cappuccino but always wanted to fit one of the brides that have been sitting in my garage. I'll be honest it's not easy to get in and out of but feels very snug! You may also notice my jdm cup holders

Stretched tyres: Yes Bride seat: Yes Hardcore Camber: Yes (but the comments from those who don't get it will annoy you after a while, not to mention the piss-poor traction and having to frequently replace tyres) Air vent cupholders: NO, NO, for the love of god NO!!! |

it's all about styling to your own taste. Totally agree with the "hardcore camber" though.
What's wrong with air-vet cupholders? lol! Just making the most of the lack of space lol! |

I wouldn't go that far.... i'm sure he'll revert to normal camber settings sooner or later.....
Worst thing I ever tried on my car... I coulnd't go on a straight line...and that was with -3.5 degrees... |

it's all about trial and error, I doubt I'll be using as much camber as in the picture above. Just want something with a nice stance but at the same time practical.
A wheelchair with camber? must be an episode of "pimp my gran's ride" I missed! |

Although actually you do get wheelchairs with negative camber. They are usually the 'sports' ones as the camber aids manoeuvrability and stability. |

Providing your corner little bit of camber won't hurt! How much of a difference does a decent bucket seat make?
I just put in a Sparco Sprint fixed bucket best mod so far the extra confidence you get is great! You learn to get use to hoping in and out with the seat. Definitely not something you will do if you have a bad back lol
Loving the process! |

Andy that's a class wheel chair, and a lot of camber!!
Thanks Will. I totally agree with you about adding a bucket seat. It's a must if you enjoy throwing your car into corners!! |

JDM looks are all well and good but air vent cupholders are one step shy of gluing all sorts of figurines to the dash and that's just not cricket. |

Just because Takumi had cupholders in the 86 in Initial D, doesn't make them JDM |

since they were bought in japan on the japanese domestic market it makes then more jdm than most of the things on this site, jdm is over done, just do your car how you like it, sure theres some right rank cappuccinos out there but maybe somethings your cars rank to

It is cricket when there is no space between you legs because of the bolsters on the seat. I was thinking about getting the cup holders for mine for that reason. |

I agree, it was a practical additon as we all know space is very limited. As ea11r_tj said, they were bought on the Japanese domestic market, hence that makes them JDM. I have a spare set if your interested Will :-p |
