So last year I stripped my Cappo down for a thorough rust proofing.  For those who don't know, I have had this car six years and it only had 4000 miles on it when I got it in 2004.  It now has 30k (just run in )
When I first got it I gave it a good waxoyling, 6 years on it was time to re-apply and see if my original rust proofing was up to anything.  Here is what I found......

Verdict.....  I could not find any rust..... anywhere.  I reapplied various nasty potions, using different stuff for different areas:

Underside - hammerite car underseal

Arches, suspension, sub-frame, fuel tank, sills - Wayoil

Interior - POR 15

So there we are, proof that rust can be beaten, even on a Cappo!!
