I really like those carbon bits.... I've recently been mulling over the idea of making some carbon fibre bits ..... How difficult or otherwise do you think it really is?    Be interested in your opinion

being honest - it isn't super-easy but if you can do simple fiberglassing and don't mind stuffing up a little it's not 'that' hard... thanks Dick

Got my bonnet reprayed today by one of my experienced neighbours who works in a panel shop. Some Vic members have seen what it looked like before but we resprayed my bonnet tonight and will do the bootlid later on (they were like sandpaper before the respray!)

Done... Just need to wait a week (or therabouts) so the clear acrylic is dry and rub back to gloss

Very happy! 5 coats of colour and 8 coats of clear - should sparkle now!
