I had a feeling that was going to be the case,

sadly I dont drive my capp enough now that uni has started again for a cop to really pull me over

The nardi is a 330mm! I find that this size is perfect for the car, The previous one i had, 350mm was a bit too fat in my opinion

yeahhh it does depend on police to police I guess,

^^^Its because they are on auto-pilot and don't use common-sense......you cant get a hand up beside the pillar let alone your bloody noggin LOL

Apparently it "Impedes driver vision"... The cops around my area dont like my car so much though... 28 defects and counting on the CRX lol.

Hey mate, your cap is so clean inside and out.
The steering wheel looks great. I'm looking for a smaller wheel aswell. Would you happen to know the size of a standard wheel. I'm running a fixed back bucket and seat rather close to the wheel so the standard wheel is abit to big to be comfortable

Went to buy the compression tester yesterday, turns out the suzuki spark plug socket is 10mm, it came with a 14mm and an 18mm, going to go to my mechanic and hopefully they will have one

but that willl have to wait till monday/tuesday to see the results

still puzzled on what else could be the problem, factoring in power loss from the engine to the rear wheels its still like totally so low

on the bright side!

So i did a compression test for the car,
these were the results:

Standard 12.0kg/cm^2
Limit 9.0kg.cm^2
Max difference 1.0kg/cm^2

cylinder 1: 10.0kg/cm^2
cylinder 2: 9.0kg/cm^2
cylinder 3: 10.0kg/cm^2

Just a bit worried about the engine, but then there could be a few factors including the calibration of the tester, so i was a bit relieved that it was within 10% of each other

So the plan is to see if theres a problem with the fuel pump!

In the mean time here's a few photos for christmas

thanks guys!

Time for an update!

So firstly after paying for 2 SFS performance pipes from the UK which the shipping cost more than the silicone pipes themselves, it still took 4 weeks to get here

spent the whole Saturday working with these bits
service the car
suzuki sports low temp theromstat
rocker cover
radiator pipes

I normally use Castrol Edge 5W30 but i just wanted to see how it would run with Mobil 1 this time just to see if there was any difference

oil leak around the gasket/sump

Speaking of my sump yeah i must of ran over a big rock or something

The capp takes about 3L of oil, which is quite a lot considering how small the engine is

HKS Oil filter because a ryco one was only like 5 dollars cheaper

After that was done time to work on the radiator

Leaks.. leaks everywhere

Check out how ballooned the OEM pipes have become

Started at about 2pm on the Saturday, finished at about 6pm

Finally everything done

Have quite a few more parts coming from Jesse Streeter so hopefully that is going to be fun, planning to give the engine bay a good clean too soon

Need to do something about the colours of the engine bay, it looks too jumbled with random colours everywhere
