Didnt want to make a new thread for the cap so ill make this the thread for it.
So the first thing i did after i got the cap was the cheapo BOV (works a treat! lol)
The second thing was STICKERS! I had mine cut out myself ^^. I have to thank Will for the design as i took the design of his sticker and modified it to my liking
Then i installed the ONE MOST IMPORTANT THING a car should have - BOOT SWITCH
Then i got some wheels: |

ok abit of update.. i went ahead to get some replica volk racing rims in 14s. i bought a set in this condition..all oxidized.. this was one of the best looking one out of 4...one rim even had half of the studs missing... thats why i said it was a replica lol..
so i decided to knock out all the studs and throw some putty to cover the holes..studs out.. found out they were only plastic!
sanded it down to get rid of the oxidation
more sanding.....
after some putty, sanding and a layer of primer, this is what i got... not able to cover all the holes.. so i guess ill have to do it again tomorrow..
anyway, here is a teaser of what it would look on the car.. yes.... i photoshopped it

Are you confident the filler will stay there? If I had the same wheels I would sand and clean them up as you have and get them powdercoates gunmetal in the centers and buy enough allen head bolts to go around the edge. |

im pretty sure it will stay but i am not all confident that it wont crack :S.. im afraid that once it gets on the road, heat builds up, expanding the hole and then making the filler crack.. urgh.. i have another option which is drilling all the plastic out and leaving the holes there.. i wonder if it would look ok...

That would be the best solution probably but it might cost more than what the wheels are worth! |

yeah i went for metal putty... fiberglass reinforced ones... they give your hands a good work out! so i went and got the normal putty instead so i dont have to sand so much .. i think they would hold as well.. **hopes**
ive done sanding and painting 3 out 4 of the set. was impatient when waiting for the paint to dry before putting the clear coat on so there are some parts that were smeared
here is what it looks like:
not the best painting ive done but yeah itll do the job.. also notice that this wheel has the holes drilled out, i have 2 wheels with filled and sanded holes and 2 that are left like that. i opted to have the cappo styled to 'drift spec' Lol, by having 2 sets of different (well in this case ALMOST different) wheels front and back HAHAHAH
well actually its an excuse for being lazy

wheels look good but why did you get rid of the bolts? should've either done what you did with the front wheels and got rid of bumps or left the bolts in. Looks weird on the rear wheels IMO |

i had no choice... i had to take all bolts out cos they were oxidized and half of the bolts on one wheel were gone, the oxidation took it all lol..... why is the back diff? it was just too frustrating to do all 4 wheels ... so i decided to leave it.. does not hurt to be abit "drift spec" HAHAHAHA
Thanks Will & CG, yeah desperately need more low.. how are u guys getting low? springs or coillies? im deciding between both |

I went Suzuki Sport Coilovers....the blue ones (which are the most expensive) managed to clock 3 seconds of my time over at a race track just outside of Sydney. I love them wouldn't even bother with a spring/shock combo. They can be a little harsh but then again the cappa is a weekend only car for me. |

Ok abit of an update :
Installed a Turbo timer (which some of you would know - had trouble with the wiring LOL). i mounted it on the bottom left hand corner of the dashboard:
Then i got myself an Omori boost gauge (which again, had trouble with the hose-works -_-) I didnt know where to mount it and i didnt want to drill (more) holes in my dashboard so i mounted it to sit in the ash tray compartment, with the ash tray out:
Note: its a 45mm gauge so yeah, it fits snugly im very happy with the way it sits, just that sometimes in 3rd gear i cant see the gauge lol
So after that i got myself an electronic boost controller. This one in particular is the HKS evc 5. Brought it to the shop to have it hooked up cos i didnt wanna f up anything in the engine. But i mounted it myself. Currently it sits alot higher than the one in the picture (couldnt be bothered taking another one).
Then i found out that i didnt have any place to mount my air freshener :S so i made and aluminum plate and placed it between the dashboard facia and the part bulging out for the climate controls etc, if you dont get it look at the picturez:
I got the cap an amp as well, so i can get more bass out of the 6.5" pioneers i got down there ( no pictures yet but ill get some soon )
So now im waiting for some springs to come from japan and im a happy(ier) man.. oh! i almost forgot my HIDs, a better pioneer Headunit and my other 3 Omori gauges droolss

Mate I have been around the JDM community long enough to know what it is....relax a little but the way I was mucking around but obviously you couldn't tell by the way I typed it?
Or even look at my other car which does have flushness sure enough it ain't hellaflush since the wheels aren't sticking out of the guards.
On a brighter note....loving the sticker!!! |

Have them on my green cappi teamed with kyb suspension, corners really well You will be happy. I don't know what height yours are but my front ones were so low that I couldn't get full lock on steering! Had to adjust for a roadworthy! |

That was with stock rims! Like I said though, that was wih the springs I had from the previous owner - they would most likely be a different height to yours |
