I have started Suzi`s album I should have started with her revamp but didnt think at the time I first posted. So as that thread is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy to long I thought I would give her a album which I hope to add to as we go on our travels.
I am delighted with the end result, I know she wont be everyones cup of tea and thats ok I am thick skinned but she is just the way I imagined her. Unfortunatly the sun wasnt really shining here in Scotland and her blingy bits dont show too well but in the flesh she just sparkles, I love the new round fog and back up  lights, I love her tail pipe trim  I am awaiting delivery of a lovely set of chrome bars with the D hoops for behind her seats from Steve which I think will finnish the look nicely. Did have her out for a little drive and yes she turned heads and I had plenty of questions when I stopped for fuel, everyone seemed impressed and curious lol, here`s to a cappo summer. Im just so worried someone wrecks her now I have her perfect, would just be my luck
So love her or hate her here she is ............................

You love her and that's all that counts - screw what anyone else thinks

I'd have to say the exhaust trim and gear knob wouldn't be my choice but as it's not my car who cares

I love the paint though and it must look fantastic in the sun.

thank you guys, my daughter asked me today if I had been for a spin in my waltzer, that made me chuckle you know Sneaza that is the one thing I am not sure about, the wheels they came out really nice but I am still not sure of the colour, which is why I put the purple wheel trim tape on them as I was sure they looked too dark. Refer back to her original pics and note her silver stars on the roof, I may feel the urge to pop a little star on each of her hub caps to brighten them up LOL. My hubby and son both think that the wheels are the best part though, so ill see if they grow on me. Andy she really does sparkle in the daylight and your right I really dont care what anyone else thinks, LOL at gear knob glad the pink stereo is hiding and you didnt mention her purple glitter ball on ariel so if you like that I have a spare I can post to you .

LOL.....Totally missed the Glitter Ball...lol Was going to ask if there was a Pin Stripe around the Rims, but just figured it was the reflection from the car and the lighting....Well done again.

This is what a Cappo forum is about. Looking at everyone elses Cappo's being restored to their personal spec is class!! You had a vision and it came to light!

I loved watching this thread.

I'm the video man and I want to see a video of this. Driving. The wheels, the arial and all ur quirky bits ha ha.

Believe me, when mine is done there's going to be a video...

Anyway. I think it looks class. I wouldve painted the dash purple. You know accross the dash ??

apart from that dont change anything.

That looks really good, well eyecatching. Looks like there are now at least two non standard colours north of the border!  I've another one that I'll soon be painting as well, maybe thinking matt black and yellow.
We should get a Scottish meet together this summer so we can see it in the flesh. There's a guy at Knockhill has one as well and he's keen to arrange a get together.

Well today must have been the sunniest day so far this year PLUS luckily I took delivery of a fantastic set of Bars from Steve, I dashed right out and fitted them couldnt resist some pics, I love the little detail of the Cappo badge steve has added it really finnishes them perfectly. I am over the moon with them and cant thank Steve enough he kept me fully informed throughout the whole process and despatched them to me very promptly. Great job Steve the bars are just perfect So fitted and roof off couldnt resist heading out into the sun, great drive very enjoyable. I did take more pics but for some reason my camera will only upload these You get the idea though

wow
that purple did turn out pretty amazing
as an owner of the roll bar i think they look awesome, they give the car a very very sporty look

that muffler made me smile!

ummm
in your last 3 photos though, you can actaully get the roof lower than that, because right now it should be beeping at you since it is not at its covertible state nor it is covered,
I believe you just have to pull the release latch, and push it down with a tiny bit of force,
you will hear a click!
i am sure someone here is more than welcome to show you =]

LOL yes Kayfour I did do the latch and drop the roof right into the back of the car level with the back of the boot lid so to speak, only those are the pics I couldnt get my kodak to upload for some weird reason, my alarm thingy does work but only when that back part is off the latch and up if it doesnt click when I put it up  up to it`s highest point thats when it alarms if that makes any sense lol. It doesnt alarm in the pictured position as the latch is enganged keeping it in that position. Is mine faulty then ?

The rear hoop alarm switch is actually a reed switch behind the trim behind the driver's seat.  The alarm should sound if the hoop is not fully up or fully down.

Be careful lowering the back window when the latch is still in place as it will be putting things under pressure.

Looking very good alliballi. One tidy Capp, you should be very proud. Although, if I was female I would have opted for a Hello Kitty exhaust tip

Hard to explain Andy but the latch is pressed and fully released when I am lowering it or putting it up so it isnt stopping any of the free movement. It clicks in place at position in pics and then when realeased again the whole hoop dissapears and yes another click locking it down in place when fully down so to speak.
Nick thanks for your input dont wish to sound like I am up my own tail pipe but Hello Kitty is so mmmmmmmmmmmmmm well every female who visits Halfords has hello Kitty, I do like different LOL, Mind you I didnt know you got hello Kitty exhaust trims,

EA11R_TJ Thanks for offer would consider changing wheels although I do like the originals, would the wheels you have be a straight swap without any mods also will they be wider than whats on I dont want any rubbing or them to stick out or have to change the width of the arches ect and will it still drive ok if the tyres are a different size from those it came with, sorry for sounding thick but I am when it comes to anything like this lol.

LOL agreed about the wheels although I have had a wee play I removed the purple coach line tape and replaced it with silver and the wheel centers now have a silver star on each one it looks a lot better, the wheels did come up very nice and smooth,  I will wait now until I take her off the road in about october time and may well have them redone silver. I do like the originals so unless something that really wows me and it is a case of taking the originals off and bolting another set on ill stick with them, only maybe in silver not black

Chocolate Chocolate, instantly springs to mind a Cadbury Cappuccino, love it cos chocolate is good for you and its sounds Alli that the same goes for your new revitalised car.
Apart from that colour my fav bits are the chrome heart exhaust, gear knob and roll bars, De-li-cious
