Hy
my name is Christoph, i am from Autria (Upperaustria, near Braunau am Inn/Salzburg).
i bought my cappu in Spring 2012, used it in the "salzburger Landesmeisterschaft Bergslalom" a Local Slalom Series at this moment 5th in the overall ranking with a nearly stock Cappu

MINT conditions
Silver
60t miles

complete Stock

So, now a few Pics what i have done since i bought it!

Found some Rust and weldet it!

The same at the rear + fitted 45mm Fenderflares and my S13 Alloys with the semsilicks

No radio, because racecar ^^

My Oilcooler, all from MOCAL

Mocal on the Front

Bought some old Sparco Junior seats

<3 <3 <3

2nd Slalom in the Championship

Front Arces and a preview on my selfmade sideskirts made from Carbon (this is the first try made from wood ^^)

Dyno, with Mitsubishi Intersooler and NO exhaustdamper!
rpm will not be right! Turbo --> 0,7 bar

Modified my front ????? (sorry, i only know the german name : Traggelenk)
machined a "longhole" with 4mm and in the place wher is Original the Bolt with fix the whole i machined a M12 Tread, in the Suspension arm a "longhole" with 4mm and so i can get ~2! camber in the front

her you can see 1,8°

New Radiator from VW Golf Mk2 16V

Made some brakets and mounted it for my T-Mount Radiatorsetup!

her with the Intercooler from the DSM Colt 1.5t, good for ~180-200hp, prety good design and size!

Spotwelded Downpipe, i weld the whole than @work with a TIG, i only have a pretty OLD MIg welder in my Garage! its more tha Glue the whole

Specs at this moment:
0,7bar Ld ( i know, o.9 is Original) Boostcontroller is coming SOON (HKS EVC5)
Mitsubishi Colt 1.5t Intercooler T-Mount with 63mm piping
VW Golf Mk2 Alloy Radiator from Ebayshop 2fast2cool, fits PERFEKT!
+VW OEM Waterexpansion Bottle
Ck-Spec 2,5" Exhaust from Turbo Back
Ck-Spec Front Suspensionparts, so i can run ~2° Camber in the front
Federal Rs-R Semislicks 195/50/15
Nissan S13 OEm Facelift alloys (6x15 Et35) from my old Nissan
Rs-R Ti2000 30mm lowering springs
Sparco Junior Bucketseats
Dino 32cm Steeringwheel
Prosport gauges (oiltemp, oilpresure, Turbopresure, Wideband and EGT)

What i will do in next time:
front, rear and fenderbraces,... all made from Carbon (i work with Carbonfiber a few years)
Instal the Boostcontroller so i can run 1.0bar
make it lighter and stiffer
drive

Thanks and i hope you enjoy my "built", i swear, i will do a lot in next Time and then in Winter i will Stripp down the Car, weld in a FIA certified Rollcage, make it so light as i can with some bodyparts made from Carbon,..
but we will see!!

Wit best reguads and sorry for my broken english!

Ck

the seats are Sparco Sprint Junior, built 1997-2002, on ebay you can get sometimes a pair!
i am 193cm tall (6,3´) and her a pic from me in the car!

14cm headroom, really nice for such a small car!

So, and now a pic from the Nissan from my best friend wher i built 90% of all parts!

I made:
Fuelrail billet alloy and anodized by me
Carbonfiber Intakemanifold, from simulate the Intake in CAD, mill the mold, laminated the Intake,...
The Handymade turboheader to fit the HUGE turbo (Gt3582)
The whole Fuelsystem
The exhaust (3" from turbo back)
...

1,2bar 380hp
1,5bar 503hp
2,0bar xxxhp ^^

Me and my best friend,.. hm, yes, you can call us CRAZY ^^
we do things who everyone says it cant work,.. now,.. they see, it works pretty well and its REALLY FAST!! under 9sec 100-200 kph!

Sorry for this Offtopic,..

Nice sound! SLM looks fun too.

Love the cappo and the mods! Traggelenk looks interesting - is it strong enough like that? Any pics of it installed? (with the new bolt)

A [standard] number plate bracket would help improve airflow. I've got a spare one if you're interested.

A few days ago i was on the Salzburg Ring, around 25 Cars, all ~300Ps+++
a few porsche Gt2 Rs, M3, Skyline GTR with 600 HP, my frieds Nissan S13 with 400hp, etc,..
but in the Corners its nice to see that the cappu can catch up to a few cars with loooots more power!!

the Day after the Ring i installed the EGt sensor in the Header, clean and check the turbo, compare it with my spare turbos ^^
Ct12a ~130hp output @ 14 PSI

ant because my codriver gets "warm legs" i isolate my Downpipe with Cool-It Thermo Take Bandages, spray it with the special Spray to prevent them from water/oil,..
its amazing whitch difference this made,..

Sorry 4 no larger upgrades,.. but at the time i have holliday, and relaxx alllllll day long ^^
but next 2 days i drive to the Wörthersee in Kärnten with my girlfriend, 2 days in a beatifull Hotel with a beatiful women!

Very nice mods and video! Really interesting stuff!

It looks like you're already going quick round the corners but with all the added downforce you will be super fast! Canard wings too!

Thanks

Ricou: thanks!
the suspnsion,... how it works,.. very easy,.. cut off the suspension mounts in the front lower arms, weld new mounts on, weld.some handmade mounts on the frame and install the new suspension ^^
You see, veeeeery easy

Lyric,... thanks

Lord: sorry my english isnt good enougt to understand what you mean, is it good or bad what you write? ???
When you mean how i know where the new mountings must be,.. its asy,.. try nd error,.. i spotwelded al and testfitted it,..
Again, again, again!

The benefits from the motorcyle.suspension,.. its upsidedown, high adjustable, zug and druckstufe (sorry dont know the english words) extra adustable, when i want other spring ratios ore something another i can say to bilstein or öhlins,.. hey i want a suspension for a honda cbr pc40 with these spring rates, these damperrates,.....

So i have more "möglichkeiten" as with the cappu suspension,... a slalom suspension is a looooot harder as for.example the bc-racing suspension ...

Cheers

Thanks, its not as fast as i want, but its simple,.. i need more HP!! but after this winter i should have a few more of them ^^

Lord, THANKS

One Damper cost ~80 Euro, a few hours of work and on the rear a LOT of CNC parts,..

Front is easy to moddified,.. rear is really difficult, simplest way is a Pushrod Suspension,..

The alloy parts will made on Saturday, anodize it also on Saturday ^^
The framerail whitch is also Mounting for the shocks and Alloyparts will made next week and weld in next Weekend, then i only must made the Push-Rods and can install all ^^
