Hy

A few small updates from Austria

new Brake Calipers, testfitted on the Front!
the model made from Paper mas the measures from the later brakedisk-rings (256x18mm)

Than, the Shell gets a massiv Stand so i can cut out the whole OuterSill and Floorpans!

And thats the reason why there are not more updates, i weld a Full Rollcage in the 200sx from a Freind which also drives on Hillclimp events!
1050kg/450hp!!

Netxt weeks the Nissan will get fully welded so i can spent more time on the Cappu!!

Cheers

The Reason why there are no zpdates so long time!

The S13 from my best friend i built!

December

March

June

and now the secomnd reason,..

the hobbygarage gets a "new look"

December

last week

my buddy spent around 20t euro to get it in this conditions, but he is always on traveling for his job so i did all the Works on the Garage (nearby to my normal work)

The nissan is now a few little steps to get on the dyno ang on the weightscale, our plans was 1050 Kg and 550hp i tinhink we are lighter and a little bit stronger

End of August we planed to get back on the garage with our Cars, my Cappucomes @ home to me, wants so heavy ^^

End of September the Cappu goes to the Rollcagebuilders to Hungary, there are a LOT cheaper as one in Austria or Germany (900-1200 Euro vs. 2500-4500¤)

You can see the transformation of the S13?
then you can imagin what i will do with MY OWN CAR

cheers

ps.: i have a Sponsor now,.. YEAH!!!!!!!
its an UK company witch gets me a BIG discount just for some small promotion on the Cappu!

Incredible CK! And Lozzy, competing in the BCD with a cappo is.... Well, brave! If ever I sell the cappo, it'll be for a bdc ready drift car! The cappo is just not designed for going sideways at 100+mph. At castle Combe the initiation speed was 118mph!

Stupid phone kept correcting BDC to BCD lol. And yeah, it's one of the few drift competitions that doesn't require 1,000bhp and utterly unachievable by average Joe. Also somewhat more technical than the likes of Formula D - was interesting seeing the legendary Ryan Tuerck over here as a guest competitor couple rounds back, as a kind of comparison!

CK - when I finally get the Cappo up and running I'll have to go on a euro track tour, so I'll make it a priority to get on over to see you guys. I'm completely in love with your buddies' S13!

Hi
The rear suspension looks realy interesting.
Could you post some more pics how is it connected to the "old"suspension?
Did you make the drawings and CNC parts youself ?
I will look forward to see how your project develops.
greetings

Some Updates

Brakes are finished and gets my Logo with a laser Engraver

Valves gets a new shape on a CNC maschien, all the same weight and polished

AP-Racing 184mm Clutch on Stock flywheel, stock flywheel 8,5kg (around) now the whole package with clutch has 7.9 kg

Than i finished the construction of my new Intakemanifolds and Runners, and befor i waste a big alloy block i printed it on a 30t euro 3d printer.

Some small corections and all will fit FINE!

But now the bad update, the new special made Clutch plate dont fit the spline on the gearbox, i told them the neccessary measures but these A****** made it to wide.

So i must weld the old Spline Ring in the new Clutch Plate and all will get fine, just a few minutes on the CNC milling maschine.

Have a nice day

CK

Oh sh* I have a teardrop at the corner of my eye... beautiful, just beautiful!

Do you have a calendar of the races you would like to enter? If any of the races located at the eastern part of Austria then I would gladly watch you and your gem going up and down on the roads

http://666kb.com/i/ctndkgo8k2ngyqhe0.jpg => are you making your own conrods or am I hallucinating ?

And hypothetically, if someone wanted one, would you be able and willing to make another of that gorgeous intake manifold of yours ?

Yes, i make my own conrods.
That has some reasons, but mainreason is,.. Cause i can do it

These was a model made from alloy, the final ones are from a high graded steel, really.difficult to become a block,...

And the intake, yes BUT at first i have to see if it work properly, i dont want that one cylinder run lean or rich,  so i use 3 widebands and 3 egt sensors in my exhaust to check.this!

Have you got baffles in that intake too? as I've seen a lot of the flow data for bmw intakes that suggest simply narrowing it doesn't improve / even much of the flow.

Superb work. what is the gearbox from? With the con rods are you going to make the bearing cap as a separate piece or are you going to cryogenically fracture the cap from the rod?
