well i thought i better put up a little thread about my mircomachine

heres how she started we rescued her from a elderly lady

now in her war paint this little car is getting a bit of a fan base

my brother have whirl at DWYB

Me going for it in the Fueltopia Barrel Sprint 3rd place in the season

Now we know my cap a little heres my build up to the Monster Energy Gymkhana Grid

over the next couple of weeks my cap is going to be getting a make over to make it look like a micro D1 drift car my inspiration is from the take off car and a few other ones ive seen

its going to be the biggest crowd that i will have competed in front of its on a British Touring car event at silverstone!

So the plans are

New Paint Job
New Wheels
New Graphics
Big Wing - Check
a power Hike on the engine- Check

Last Week it started

pay day arrived then shortly after so did my enormous wing !

i was very excited that me and my brother fitted it that night

in the daytime you can appreciate it size it sits 15 inches off the boot lid!

Next up is the f100 il take some pics when it arrives

we havnt investigated extra lock yet

its quite a handful to drift very snatchy compared to my E36 touring! it definitely keeps you on its toes

im going for a 15x 8 on the front to aid with the front grip as the standard 14s are just way to narrow

Yes I noticed there are too many colours to chose from, lol

I have already bought loads of White and was gonna keep it Matt but now im thinking of getting some Glossifier to make it shiny, also got some metal flake to mix in with it too

On another note, ive just bought the same spoiler as you, waiting to go on in a few weeks

i was 2nd fastest in qualifying and then a subaru knocked me down to 3rd fastest there was only 1 tenth in it!

Round 4 for us on Sunday I now have a hydraulic handbrake fitted thanks to sansi automotive this should all being well alow me to nail my entry in to the barrels each time being more precise it was really needed as the standard hand brake would not lock up all the time

well according to the staff that run the events I am the fans favorite every run is like a David and Goliath story

every event the spectators are like what is this little car that nissan/bmw etc will beat him and when I cross the line first it gives me satisfaction every time

That's the exact reason why I've decided to plough money into mine instead of buying a car that's already fast. It's so much more fun annoying people with a Kei car than a car that's already fast

the plasti dip experience went to a whole new level

as advised i got some strainers to filter any gunk from the dip

i was spraying away and thought this was coming out good then this happend!

it turned out i had filterd out the rubber element! and was just spraying thinners on causing the whole lot to droop!

I managed to recover it luckily!

from the picture you can i couldnt quite get low enough with the dip ive now sorted that with another 6  coats

i had decided to do the bonnet and bumpers black in the end

i think it looks pretty tough now

this week its decals and wheels then finally ready for gymkhana grid

It looks good Pink and Black imo

I had a similar issue with the plastidip on the front of the bonnet, i didn't strain anything out of mine just sprayed it as was.

I was gonna pop down to Silverstone on Sunday, so ill see you then

what a mental weekend done my fastest initiation in to a drift yet looking at the speedo it was the top of second 50mph?

didnt qualify looking at the time i got my best was 42.09 which was around 3.5seconds off a 650bhp formula Drift car

so on the sunday the car was chilling and it certainly drew some attention
