Gorgeous car but he may well be the worst cameraman ever! |

Oh he is truly truly horrible. I cannot locate a website, but if he is still in business, a telephone reverse number look-up puts him in Osaka in the KIX airport section. Too far to drive just to chat, so I'll have my wife call when she is feeling better - right now ain't going to happen. Monster-Sport doesn't know how to answer email and so I was going to ask her to call them today but that was a no go yet. At least, I have me some entertainment to watch on my region free DVD player now courtesy of Amazon Japan:
Just found this mention of Muro Project here at the Cappuccino Wiki page - specifically HERE....along with a pic of this Cosworth powered Cappuccino from Osaka.
Google Translate "power".......ENGAGE! |

I think I'm even more impressed by those custom suspension towers! They look strong as anything! |

Thanks so much for that. Knowing that a K10a can put up with more than 300hp makes my 250ish goal seem easy by comparison. |

I have one student who needs CAS hours and I asked the CAS director at my school if translating the DVD into English could be considered a CAS project. He said that he'd sign off on it because translating/subtitles would not be just for me alone. It'll take some time due to so many other IB commitments, but I hope to get it down by the end of February.
As for the K10, it is clearly a cool swap, but I wonder how streetable it would be. For track days, oh yeah it looks sweet, but to take to Akagi some Saturday night to run the touge....I don't know. An engine with more torque might be a better choice for a street car. RSRS has a built engine but they told me that 300hp is not possible with theirs and dmwDave still hasn't responded to me when I talked money and asked about getting a G13B built. |

I'd like to second that, even if I have to pay for it. |

A bit of an update. I finally got a student to translate the video with English subtitles. However, the school where I was working did not allow direct cash payment for services....unless it was the parents paying for the fraud that was going on - but that was another story. I never came to an agreement with the student who essentially weirded out on me without explanation. It was that kind of 'school'. I'm now out of that place (never looking back) on to a legitimate international school here in Japan.
It is was to early to comment with authority if I can find a student there willing to subtitle the video as a project. Without subtitles, the video will not prove that valuable as the guy behind it all has no concept of cinematography. |
