The plan is to create a classic looking Cappo in the mould of an Austin Healey. A British Racing Green re-paint with Old English Cream for the roof. There will be racing roundels on the doors and bonnet. Chrome bullet style door mirrors. Minilite style alloy wheels. Interior to remain pretty standard.

Here's a few pictures of progress so far:

Some new lovely items that will be added soon...

I think the steam cleaner is just as big, yeah.

Probably drier than the bloody Cappo too.  >

Not as yet. I was going to see if it was compatible anyway, but otherwise had my eyes on a conversion ring available from Driftworks. Right idea?

It looks like a Momo stud pattern so it won't fit the boss you have on your cappo. I think the driftworks convert Momo to Nardi so would be wrong.

Nardi use the same as the Cappo pattern so the adapter would convert to the correct PCD I'm just not sure of that lip on it...

The adapter needs to be Momo tapped holes and nardi/cappo counter bored holes. The drift works converts the other way Momo counter bored holes and nardi/cappo tapped holes.

Progress has been slow thanks to:
1) Life
2) Rebuilding race cars
3) New Job

Got a hub adaptor for the wheel, and also picked up this lot:

Minilite style wheels are on their way. Will fit 185/50 x 14 tyres to help with clearance issues. Going to mount the wing mirrors...On the wings, funnily enough. Will remove the air-con rad and compressor (pipework is missing anyway). Got a couple of decent front wings to replace the current cruddy ones. Braided brake lines also on their way.

Oh yeah, the rubber exterior seals have perished on the shock absorbers which I think is an MOT failure, so I'll get some BC racing coilovers to replace them. (It's a hard life).

Will organise getting it in for the paint job soon.

Time to crack on with it!

Ok, so that didn't go to plan. Car back with me, minus spangly paint job. I'll be doing the painting instead later this year. (It's a long story).

I've got some mechanical jobs I want to get out of the way first, but in the meantime I fitted this to cheer myself up a bit:
