I havn't posted any photos of my Cappo as I have kept it standard, but after a successful install of a newly constructed speaker box I feel it would be nice to share a couple of pics.

System comprises of:

Front speakers 6.5" component Focal PS165. A 9mm MDF spacer was needed to get them to fit as they are quite a deep cone fitted into the stock location. Still plenty of room to operate the accelerator pedal. Crossovers mounted behind dashboard. Tweeters mounted next to A pillar on the dashboard.

Speakers and amplifier in photo:
5.25" Coaxial Alpine Type R.
10" shallow mount subwoofer JL Audio 10TW3
JL Audio XD700/5 5 channel amplifier stuck directly to the carpet with velcro powering all speakers.

Box:
Strong fibreglass construction with 18mm thick MDF baffles to separate air space between subwoofer and speakers. Speakers mounted on 18mm thick MDF rings. Subwoofer mounted on a 25mm thick MDF ring. Total air space of subwoofer enclosure is 0.6Sq/ft, which is enough air space for any 10" shallow mount subwoofer. The box is finished in a medium grained vinyl, which gives a nice texture and matches the interior of the car quite nicely.

The only drawback with the install is that the passenger seat does not recline as expected with the amplifier behind it. Luckily, because it is digital amplifier, it needs minimal ventilation, so it never overheats in such an enclosed space. No problem getting the drivers seat back though.

I never tried to put the amp under the passenger seat simply because I like to get to the controls occasionally to do some fine tuning and to be honest I would be very surprised if it fits anyway. I'm happy to leave it where it is as I rarely have anyone in the passenger seat anyway, but thanks for the suggestion.
