It is a radiator for a honda civic. I did used the original hoses, but i used the original plastic fan from the civic to. You need to make compleet new brakets and the radiator is lower than the old one....... BUT it look pretty cool to me |

oh ah, the biggest for me would be the hoses going back into the right place.
Do you know which model of civic, EF, EG?
As for the fan from a civic, did you have top cut the orginail wire to adapt using the civic plug ?
I take it there is not a temp sensor/switch on the radiator on the cappo?
Link to buy this rad would be good mate
Thanks Ming |

Sooow ...the nice weather is comming,so is my cap. This is the new layout for the enginebay..
It isn't finished yet some hoses are the wrong color. I installed blue silicone hoses for the cooling because the old ones burnt away There's also a new thermostat in. Oil catch can is installed and working fine. Just need to adjust the hks blowoff, the sound isn't good. Tomorrow i'm going to instal the heat 9 plugs.
I have to get the new bolts in for 2 wheels and spray 2 centercaps. Then it's on the road again. |

What do you mean with "and what gives to follow it"... You need to grind the crack out and fill it with special elektrik welding pins for cast iron. Not easy to do but if you can elektrikwelding it's not to difficult. |

Nothing is easy on a cappuccino . Don't know how it is to remove only the exhaust manifold. I removed the monifold ,turbo and cat in one piece. |

Okeay....Lot's of things are done, but i don't have much pictures. Think that pics say more than my bad english......
Step 1 compleet.
Than there came this....
And that results in this..
Only have to make 2 needle stops...
I'm busy with welding the car and i have got some new waterhoses becouse the old one's all crack. I've filled the tank with bp ultimate 98 and it runs better now with much better ratio. The next thing to find are wheel arches because they are rust. Ooh and i have a nice pic from last week.

I'm guessing the guys around the Beat are saying something along this lines of "oh my god! That's your boot?". That's what people usually say hehe

Sooow been busy lately. I've installed the extra handle for the boot, really a easy job. Than i ran into this
Front to back the whole bottomfloor is lose and the sill is rotten on the inside.. The steel plate behind the seats rotten and behind that panel too
Thought about to dispose the whole car....but heeey true love never dies...
When i was busy i saw from the inside that this panel was in bad shape.
Now i'm busy to get rid off the black stuff and make al metal nice and clean.
Oooh i almost forget i've painted the mudflaps...

Hi, I Love the build so far looks Really Good.
Can you let me know what model of Civic the radiator came from?
Where you got your dial faces from as my dash is so dim even with new bulbs.
Id be really interested in an oil catch tank made like yours to the same spec if you could make one

Hi, The dial faces are from japan from rice rocket. The radiator is from a civic,i think the eg and ek type are the same.. And there are more people who wants things i made You must know it all takes a lot of time to make it and i'm a busy man. My job isn't welding so i have not so much metal and tools at stock. I will always give tips enz to help you make one,but i don't make things for others. I hope you understand.
