Okay, I am going to need a lot more pictures than that! And details... Did you wrap the entire car? How much did that cost you, if you don't mind me asking? That might be a a good alternative to painting it...

I love the carbon fiber!

Here is Ji Yeon and I arriving in Calgary at a little JDM meeting:

I have several more pictures of the new wrap here on my Flickr account: http://www.flickr.com/photos/brian_vh/sets/72157624522938559/

The entire car is wrapped in 3M scotchprint vinyl. Its Blue Brushed Aluminium, Black Carbon Fiber, Matte Black, and the descals are Brushed Titanium. The cost of the complete job was $2500.

So far I've won Best graphics at a show in Niagara Falls, and 3rd Place Best Import at a show in Whitby! I think it looks amazing, I just Love the colour of it in direct sun.

Brian, your car looks so great! I added you as a contact on Flickr.

I am sure this is what I am going to do with mine next year (it will take me that long to convince the wife that this is a good idea).

Happy driving!

Well, it does have a bit of a travelling theme/image to it...

I'm in the latest (summer) issue of Zoom Zoom magazine:

http://www.zoomzoommag.ca/issue06_2011.html

The receptionist at the dealer went nuts when I came in to get a copy of the magazine - and of course I just happened to be driving the car!

Went on a little 935 km journey yesterday. I wanted to see how far the car would go on a tank of gas - I filled it right to the brim, then proceeded to drive 555 kms! Not bad for a 20-year-old car! I probably averaged around 105 km/hr the entire time. Here is a picture of a particularly beautiful stretch of completely deserted mirror-smooth tarmac in the shadows of the Rocky Mountains:

There are so many heavenly roads around here...

I was in Toronto last weekend, and I met up with Brian. Here we are talking shop:

This car is awesome beyond words! That wrap looks stunning in person... And it was surreal driving through downtown Toronto.

Wow - those previous pictures are huge! Sorry about that...

It's not much of a journey, but I did go for a little drive in the drizzling rain yesterday to "test" out the new exhaust header.

And here is a picture of the wide open prairie, where it is rather easy to find the theoretical top speed.

Haha! Oh, trust me - this car is a complete alien everywhere it goes here. Which is the whole point, isn't it?

More pictures to follow! This weekend we shall traverse the Rocky Mountains.

Went for a little 1,400 kilometre jaunt this weekend (gotta love Canada!), and here are a few pictures to prove it.

You know what fun is? Fun is driving with a 911 Carrera through mountain passes. That's what fun is.

The fall colours are glorious!

At higher elevations I ran into some rain. And the car definitely struggled as it climbed those mountains. But coming down was a blast!

I really love the smell of cedar trees, so this little rest stop was a great place to have some lunch!

A few pictures from some recent local travels...

This is what I deal with every day when I drive the AZ-1 around this city.

Ironically, the huge pickup truck is driven by this perky little yoga instructor. She is about a third the size of me.

And I was driving down a random country road in the middle of nowhere when I ran across these 40 oversized seed bins. There is probably enough canola in there to feed a small city. Not a soul around, and the nearest house was probably on the horizon somewhere.

I am trying to drive as much as possible before the snow comes and my tiny kei car is tucked away for a few months.
