The colour of the light on the right is clearer/white or is the lens clear now? Brasso or something else?

lol nice one Sneaza!

It's actually both capgun.  Polished both the lenses with Brasso first and fitted xenon filled bulbs to the lamp on the right.  So hard to get a good picture of how much better they look.

But is it any brighter and worth the money...??? That said, how difficult are they to replace and does it include the small one in front of those 2...???

They are just standard H1 and H3 bulbs but they are filled with xenon and have  blue tinted glass.  The bulbs cost £13.88 (for all four) including delivery.  I have to admit I forgot to order the sidelight bulbs .  Changing the main beam bulbs is awkward, especially on a cold day when you lose all feeling in your hands, as space is so damn tight. The dipped beam is simple though once you've got the wheel arch liner out the way.  I presume on the JDM cars you have to take the entire headlight out to replace the sidelight bulb which is probably far easier to do than change them on the car lol.

Do you mean the high beam lights or just the ones at the outer extremities? (with the glass sphere). The ones with the glass sphere I just turn the wheels to full lock and remove the inner mudguard.

Nope neither of the main bulbs.  Not sure what you guys call them now.  Position lights?  Marker lights?  Whatever they are called they are the small W5W bulbs.  On UK cars they are in the bumper along with the indicator and on JDM cars they are infront of the main beam light fitted from the underside.

Technically though you should probably get the headlamp alignment checked when you have removed the entire lamp unit.  Given the other clever designs you'd think they would come up with something better!

Cheers Chris.  As for the show - not a chance lol It's a long standing tradition that I come last.  Mainly due to my 'cold air flow system' around the passenger side headlight.  For some reason people don't think it's meant to be there

Elbow grease is my method

OK thanks.

Im looking for some that I can fit and remove as an when I need the extra space. Im planning on holding them down with stickyback velcro and running them from a small amp under the passenger seat as im removing the headunit entirely and just going to be running a small DAB unit with a 3.5mm to phono lineout

That's exactly what I did with these.  The velcro was easily removed from the parcel shelf when I finally removed them too.  I don't think there are many companies that still make shelf mount speakers.  I know at the time these were the only ones I could find.

I could bring them to Japfest2 if you want to take a look at them?

you removed them?

what did you replace them with?

only bring them if you have enough space don't want to rob you of quarter of your luggage space :p
