I'm a bit sad to read you're scrapping it, but not that much because the good thing here is that you're not heartbroken by this outcome I think

Yes Ricou, I think you're right, it finally almost comes as a relief... Guess I'm not made for restoring cars

Well, at least you're good at taking them apart, that's not nothing

Absolutely, I learned a lot, not only about disassembly but also about my limitations

I thought this thread was finished but here's a little footnote. I stumbled upon some pictures reminding me I had gone this road before...
20 years ago I found a Suzuki Fronte in a garden, very rusty. It had led a hard life, at one time it had been used as a slalom or gymkhana car.

So it got dragged home, still the same place as now but the neighbours have since constructed their garage here in the background.

What you can see here is the two stroke oil tank in the right, the theer cylinder air cooled engine is mostly covered by the forced cooling cover and the exhaust hanging behind this all.

The interior and you can see that here also, as in the Cappuccino, the sill is rusted through, as is the floor of the car.

What we have been missing in the rear is the fuel tank, and that's because it is nicely and securely placed right at the front of the car.
One doesn't want to imagine what happens when you have an accident crashing into somebody or something

So this is it, the end of 'To restore or not to restore', the bodywork of the Cappuccino is gone, the Moto Guzzi V35 Imola is the next project...

Sadly it finished the same way as the Cappuccino, the bodywork got crushed and the parts were bought by someone who had a driving Fronte.
