This one is made from 38mm (1 1/2 inch)stainless steel. If I made another one I would probably make it from 50mm (2 inch) stainless steel. Hmmmm......... I have the gear to make these. |

I have noticed a difference straight away with the roll bars. This afternoon i took KOF33 for a spin and could tell that the roof doesn't make creaking noises anymore, which means the car is stiffer. Definitely handled better as well.

What difference exactly does it make? Does it reduce rear end roll? Does it reduce oversteer? |

I havent driven the car enough yet with them on but it definatly stiffens the whole car up so I gues it will reducerear end roll an bit.
Some of the UK cappo's have had them on for a while, maybe they coul comment? |

You use the bolt that holds the seatbelt to the towers at the sides of the rear shelf. There are some pics in other threads which show this mounting. I'll see if I can find them unless someone else beats me to it. |

I was thinking of getting one made from ordinary tubular steel and spraying it with satin/brushed effect chrome plasti coat paint. It would be cheaper to put together. I know in theory it is the same thing but its hard to tell how the final product would look? |
