Pulled out out again and started the bad boy. Needed the battery starting but was ok once fired up.

Cleaned the back end up nice for a quick was. People have been talking about using all purpose cleaner apc on detailing world. Flash cleaner with lemon. They reckon it's good for most things. Diluted it with water 1-10 water and put in a pressurised water bottle.

Wings were in very good condition and the lower cowlings. I'm going to prep them myself like I did last time.

Decided to start getting some parts ready so I started prepping the rear lights before paint.

Andy did you fibreglass this section to the lights. Let it set and then undue or just leave it ? And what bulbs did you use? Normal bulbs? Can u use led bulbs?

Just left them like that in case they needed to be replaced at any time.  I did want to use LED bulbs and despite paying over the odds for ones that were meant to work the indicaators still flashed to quickly so had to use standard.  You will need to check which type of pin bulbs are required too as I can't remember.

Had a go at sanding the front bumper ready for prime and paint.

Cleaned fully using all purpose cleaner and suds.

I started off using a wet sand paper

Started on a 220 grit and went all over

Then used a 400 all over

Then used 600 to smooth off and got into nooks and crannies

Smoothed out a lot of bumps such as stone chips. Got a small repair to complete but going to use the fibre glass resin already set in the tub to go behind the year to give some solidity.

I want a square intake that I want to add onto the bumper like a take off one but only want one on the same side as the air filter like on yours kei

Or I might fabricate a vent hole where the bumper angles back just after that line.
