Great pictures. We don't get to see views from underneath while the car is about 10ft in the air too often. |

See what can be re-used.....if it can.....sandblast it....powder-coat it and fit it back on....othe(rwise buy a replacement one.
Do the body-work(oh dear)
Rebuilt the engine(I still haven't decided what I should do regarding the engine, i put down a deposit for the K10 but I still haven't made my mind up) I always had a soft spot for Normally Aspirated engines....oh well...
Open the gearbox to see if anything needs doing

Just finished taking all the deadening off (including the filthy tar-based protection underneath the seats. I also water-blasted(190 bar pressure @ 95 degrees Celcius, thanks to my pressure washer) the shell(completely bare now, even doors are off) and I keep finding new areas that need fixing.... |

That's a strong Pressure Washer if it can blast the doors off
Sounds like good progress |

BTW, what did you do with the gearbox? Did you fit the Cappo or the rx-7 one? |

20B is right....too bad the import tax for a 2ltr, 20 year old car in Greece is around 10k....
I just discovered that one of the previous owners, instead of replacing the sills or cutting a piece and replacing it, he welded a similarly shaped panel on top of the rotten one.....
I am sure that an owner did it though because I cannot believe a workshop mechanic would weld like that...
