Hi, I'm Todd from the Central Coast NSW Australia. A Suzuki fan. I finally bought a Cappuccino last year after 20 years of wanting one. It's Suzuki number 9 for me (bikes and cars). I currently also have a GSX-R1000, XL7 and Baleno. I'd like to put a 185hp GSX-R1000 engine into a Cappuccino one day.

Todd,
Welcome to clubcappo. I am in the Brisbane area with a few other club members so if ever you venture up this way put a post in the Aussie owners section for a meet up. |

Heya from Finland. couple months ago got myself a cappo that i had been waiting for 7 years to get 1994 with 36k Miles on odo with full history \o/ from 1.4.1994 -> 10.10.2012 when it failed to pass the inspection due rust holes and some minor stuff
now 20 hours of work and sweat. its welded and running smooth and passed the inspection on flying colors.
next thing is to sell my soul for N1 ecu some how it seems |

Hello to all of you,
my name is Philip, but most of my Friends call me "Ecki". I'm from Germany and my Weekends are mostly filled with Motorsports.
I'm now 22 years old and bought myself a EA11R 4 months ago. This will be my new Racecar for doing Slaloms/Autocross here.
It will take a while till i get it driving on the Track First of all i have got to care about all the rust
The rough plan: 8x13 or 8.5x13 Wheels BC Racing Suspension 100hp and a new Braking System special made for my car and my Sports.
Is there anywhere here a Space where i can start an own Thread about my car? |

Hi all,
Christian vdB here in Cork, Ireland, and I'm back in Cappo land again. My first one went back to the seller (long story short, fraud, lots of rust holes, and a roadworthiness cert it shouldn't have had), my second one turned out to be too much of a project, but my third one looks like a beaut - some welding required, but not a crazy amount. Here she is: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181423490583

Oh, and here's a handy site I found for looking up Cappo part numbers (you'll need to use a browser such as Chrome that'll translate the Russian though) http://suzuki.epcdata.ru/cappuccino/ |

Hi fellow Cappo owners
I'm Sammy from London and own a Red '95 EA11R as well as a Kawasaki 600cc G2 Ninja also in Red.
I've had the car for a year and a half now and absolutely love it! It's had its fair share of rust repairs and also had new carpets fitted.
Within the first day of viewing this forum i've already removed the pipe from the std dump valve. (much better sound!) Now I just have to work out how to keep the valve open for more than a split second (if anyone knows how?)
I'll probably work my way through the "How to..." section of the forum as I can see quite a few mods that I would like to do
Anyway I'll post some pics of the car soon with its new carpets and all. Enjoy the weekend peeps!
Sammy
PS. Massive thanks to doodlepugg for recommending me to this forum! Feels like I've been in the dark for the last year and a half with this car. |

Hi Sammy and welcome!
Sounds like you may have a slight issue with the ABV if it is only venting for a very short time. Check that it isn't constantly leaking and that the vacuum hose is fitted tightly and in good condition as a starting point. |

Thanks for the welcome Andy.
I have a boost gauge fitted and can't see any drop in pressure when on boots. Although the hoses are old, I can't see any sings of leakage.
I know I said a "split second" but it's more like half a second, I'm assuming that's normal?
in cany case i do intend to replace all the hoses soon.
Cheers S |

Not really it should sound like any other dump valve from what I remember... It is a few years since I had this mod and have been running a HKS since so maybe I'm not remembering correctly... |

Yeah so my mate saw this...
Which caught his interest.
Then he saw this and spread the word as it were
And then this happened...
I don't know if this will be a short term thing or a long term thing given the fact I also own this (it was meant to be short term... but then I drove it).
So umm yeah meet Ned the Cappuccino. Despite being dearly loved by the previous owners, they didn't have a clue about servicing or maintenance and as a result is in dire need of TLC. I'm kind of glad I bought it, in truth as it wasn't going to last much longer in their care.
Currently the plan for "Ned" is get it serviced, the welding it needs done (lots), work out why it regurgitated over my fuel a disturbing quanity of fuel when I filled it first time over my foot, get a new radiator in as the current one is pin holed and crap filled, get the long overdue cambelt on there, and fix the washer bottle so I stop getting a wet leg when I pull away fast. It's got t&t for a few months so I'll see how I feel about it after that as to whether it goes on now a healthy happy car to a new owner or if I keep to run alongside the 5. What it won't do is go to to the scrap heap, too few of these around and I hate waste.
BTW anyone recommend me a good place to get the radiator, and cam belt? Seems Cappo parts are a ballache to buy new online compared to anything else I've owned... |

Hi there and welcome
Yep parts are a ball ache and expensive too!
Most parts can be still bought through Suzuki but obviously those come at a price. Check out suzuki-shop in the traders section for discounted main dealer parts though. Monster Sport Europe will also order in parts that you need and they currently have the uprated timing belt on ebay.
As for the radiator it might be easier just to get the old one re-cored to be honest as their aren't any aftermarket ones available although you can get ones for other cars to fit... |

Hi,
Just got here thx to nikki as I'm "scouting" her Cappuccino (It's actually what I'm looking for). Since my travel to Japan fell in love with kei cars, and always wanted one.
For now I'm stucked with my own project that I hope to finish ASAP. It's a limited CRX Motegi version (315HP limited on ECU to 282HP): http://www.honda-crx.info/foru.....ght=awek&start=0 Flower power!
So hopefully by the end of the next month I'll join the group of Cappuccino owners. |

Hi Everyone
I'm Callum, from Aberdeenshire and have recently gotten a Cappuccino after around 9 years of waiting!
Long story short, I fell for the car thanks to Gran Turismo 4 when I saw it thinking it has a funny name for a car (I was 12 at the time), and eventually my love for the car has grown from there.
I got my car back in April, and sadly have only driven it less than a mile due to needing alot of welding (Knew to expect this), but hopefully getting her on the road this week with a fresh MOT, after failing last week on a Sticking handbrake on the drivers side, and the number plate bulb being shot. (Not bad, considering it's not been on the road since 2008!)
She is a 1994 car, bought in Edinburgh new and then came up Aberdeen way when the owner moved up here, and had the original owner since 2008, having covered 37,000 miles. Sadly, She has't moved any real amount since then, covering around 200 miles since it's last MOT. I've got Paperwork for every MOT, service and MOT with the car, as well as owners books and the service manual.
Hoping to fit in around here & learn more about the car!

Hi, I'm Australian in Japan. I have someone else's cappuccino in my garage at the moment. no idea the year but its a K6a and it's green.
I drive a Suzuki Carry and want to but a F6A twincam (preferably cappuccino) engine in it. I figured this was a good place to get info and maybe help people get some parts out of Japan.
I can help with translating stuff too if you want.. though I'm not doing whole manuals.. Unless its one i need... lol |

Hi there and welcome
Luckily for us, as Suzuki imported some official cars into the UK, they also translated all the manuals. Sadly these only cover the F6a EA11Rs and not the K6a EA21Rs... |

Hi everyone.
I am a fresh owner of a silver cappuccino. I am currently importing it to Sweden. It is a bit of a struggle. But the last owner "kingpow" or irfy are helping me out with parts that i need and other stuff.
The plan with this one is getting it Ready and legal for swedish roads. I wish for a respray before the summer the Doors are rusted and it has some irrititing things all over the body.
Regards Fredrick / Sweden.
