Well I suppose I should kick this off...

I'm Andy, I live in South Yorkshire and I drive a 1995 UK Cappuccino in red.  It's got a few mods - Powerflow stainless steel cat back exhaust, K&N filter, genuine Suzuki bootrack, bee-sting aerial, clear side repeaters, Pioneer WMA/MP3 head unit, JBL-GTO626e 16cm 2 way front speakers and rear shelf mount BBG CSB4 speakers.  Think that'll do for now!

My other cars are:
1997 BMW 523iSE
1998 Ford Escort 1.6

Drop me a PM if you would like to be added to the ClubCappo Member Map.  More details can be found here.

Hello,

I am Paul from Cheltenham, I drive a 1994 red cappo which currently has 9600 miles on the clock (I bought it in 2004 with just 4500)!

It has a few sensible mods:

PAL sport speed de-limiter
High flow K&N air filter
Full SS custom made Sports exhaust
Full on alarm system with remote engine start
Boot rack
Panasonic MP3 head unit
Garage John rear parcel shelf speaker mounting (very nice!!)

Mods to come (hopefully):

Superchips conversion (or Suzuki N1 chip + boost controller)
Installation of remote boot release solenoid
Amplifier installation and fitting of two 6" sub woofers and possibly additional door speakers.

9610 miles now, I went for a little jolly last evening.

It took me about six months to find it.  It is my second Cappuccino , I had one before for just over a year but made a silly decision to sell it.  The plus side was, I knew exactly what to look for.

My current car was owned by an elderly Gentlemen who really could not drive it easily, hence the low mileage.  It had been garaged all it's life, and never run in the winter.  I could not believe the condition, absolutley mint.

I have taken every precaution to keep it looking like new.  Last summer I totally stripped it down and waxoyled/POR 15'd everything.

Your English is definitely far better than my French.  But then I did learn all I know from Allo Allo!  Murky buckets and all that.

Hi Jay

Well you do get lots of the same thrills as bike riding - other road users not seeing you, getting wet if it rains when you've got the roof off....

But seriously yes there are a lot of rubbish Cappos out there sadly and it pays to take your time and find the right one.  I bought mine with my heart rather than my head on Ebay of all places, but have to say I'm a lucky and picked up a good one that only had cosmetic problems.
